A Salisbury, North Carolina native, Bunker began his commercial real estate career in 1981 after graduating from UNC Charlotte with a B.A. in Economics. His early work in the industry consisted of self-investing in real estate, general brokerage and construction. Since 1991, his company, Bunker Land Group, has actively engaged in the development and investment of commercial real estate and provided site selection services for development and investment partners and clients. Property types include multi-family, single-family, retail, mini-storage, hotel, industrial and mixed-use.
Mr. Bunker has always been an advocate for continuing education in his industry and has attained the prestigious professional designations of CCIM and MAI, along with a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.With over 25 years of industry experience, Kathryn joined Bunker Land Group in January 2007 to assist in site selection and continue her appraisal valuation career. In 2009, she refocused her appraisal valuation and consulting business to move toward providing appraisal review services for purposes of loan underwriting, and for purposes of eminent domain. Additionally, she uses her knowledge of the market and appraisal valuation skills in the management of her own real estate investment portfolio.

CCIM is a designation that recognizes a proficiency in commercial and investment real estate. Its highly regarded curriculum in the commercial real estate industry includes financial analysis, investment analysis, market analysis, negotiation techniques and user decision analysis.
